Provincial Nominee Program
To come to Canada as a skilled immigrant, you must use the Express Entry system.
If eligible, this system enters you into an Express Entry pool of candidates which are then invited to apply for Permanent Residence.
Most provinces and territories in Canada can nominate immigrants through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
Each province and territory has its own "streams" and criteria for their PNP.
Parents and Grandparents of Permanent Residents and Citizens may be able to apply for a Super Visa. This visa allows you to visit you family in Canada for up to two years without losing your status and is valid for up to ten years.
If you are a citizen or permanent resident of Canada and at least 18 years old, you can sponsor certain relatives to come to Canada. Your relatives can live, study and work in Canada if they become permanent residents.
